Difference between solder Serie 5000 and Frabo Frio
They are both solder CW024A copper fittings, but it is possible to distinguish FRABO FRIO fittings and SERIE 5000 fittings from the diameter of the soldering extreme parts.
The diameter of the soldering extreme parts of SERIE 5000 is measured in millimeter in compliance with the European standard UNI EN 1254-1. On the contrary, the diameter of FRABO FRIO fittings is measured in inches, in compliance with the US standard ASME ANSI B 16.22.
SERIE 5000 fittings can be used in many different applications, as in civil as in industrial plants: cooling and heating, sanitary water plants, drinkable water systems, gas distribution systems, cool water, compressed air, fuel oils and diesel distribution systems, solar systems or thermal power stations.
FRABO FRIO fittings are perfect for VRV, VRF climate control systems and similar.
Both series are certified ISO 9001.

Maximum pressures and working temperatures are in accordance with EN 1254-1. Pressures are defined considering as joining method Brazing (EN ISO 17672).
For use in applications outside the scope of this table, the advice of the manufacturer should be asked. Intermediate pressure ratings shall be obtained by interpolation. Contact tech dept for further information.
