The family is growing: new profile M
WHY PRESS FITTINGS?
The press fitting system combines the extreme reliability of the joints with the easy and quick way of laying, as it does not need any gluing, threading or welding. The speed of execution and the elimination of all materials related to welding allow immediate time saving and economic advantages.
Thanks to its long-term experience in the production of press fittings, FRABO expands its range of stainless steel and c-steel press fittings, offering in addition to the V profile, the new series with M Profile.
M OR V PROFILE
Both “M” and “V” profiles properly answer to the need of quality and speed in modern plumbing installations. In terms of performance, the two profiles are equivalent.
What sets them apart are the technical aspects.
The most visible one is the presence, in V Profile, of the “collar” located after the O-ring seat.
By proposing both M and V Profile, Frabo’s stainless steel and carbon steel press fittings offer a solution to all technical needs.
FRABOPRESS 316 consists of pipe and fittings made of AISI 316L stainless steel (mat. 1.4404). The AISI 316L stainless steel falls into the category of austenitic steels. They are designed to improve the characteristics of traditional steels, particularly in terms of resistance to corrosion.
The AISI 316L contains molybdenum, which greatly improves the resistance of the stainless steel to localized corrosion. Thanks to molybdenum, FRABOPRESS 316fittings are perfectly resistant even in coastal regions and in industrial zones.
Because of its high value, AISI 316L stainless steel is among the more appreciated metals for its performance in systems for drinking water and food uses.

FRABOPRESS C-STEEL allows the realization of systems in a quick and extremely economical way.
The C-STEEL tubes and fittings are made from hot-rolled steel sheet and characterized by a special high resistant zincplating system, which considerably increases the oxidation time of standard corrosive agents.
The red marking on the fittings reminds that this system is NOT suitable for use with drinking water.
